PDPA and Do Not Call notice

This notice sets out how Xie Meizhong, Jenny (Jenny Xie), CEA registration no. R029803H, salesperson with ERA Realty Network Pte Ltd (licence no. L3002382K), follows the rules on marketing messages when you give your contact details through this website. The Privacy policy covers everything else about your personal data.

Replying to you is not marketing

When you send an enquiry, the one required checkbox allows Jenny to contact you about that enquiry. It does not allow marketing. A general agreement to these terms is not consent to be called or messaged for marketing.

Marketing by phone, SMS or WhatsApp

Marketing messages sent to Singapore telephone numbers, including voice calls, SMS and messages sent through apps that use your phone number, are regulated by Part 9 of the PDPA. Numbers listed on the Do Not Call Registry are checked against the Registry before any marketing is sent, unless you have given clear and unambiguous consent to receive it.

That is why marketing consent on the enquiry form is a separate checkbox, never ticked in advance, and worded to say exactly what you are agreeing to. The date and time, form version and exact wording shown to you are stored with your consent.

Identification

Every marketing call or message identifies Jenny and tells you how to reach her, and her caller ID is never hidden.

Calling hours

Marketing calls and messages are not made between 10 pm and 9 am, as the CEA’s guidelines on ethical advertising require.

Email

Marketing emails are sent only to people who asked for them. Each one identifies Jenny with her registered name, her CEA registration number and ERA’s name and licence number, carries “<ADV>” at the start of the subject line where the CEA’s guidelines require it, and contains a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are acted on promptly, and in any case within 10 business days. Email addresses are never harvested or generated automatically.

Stopping contact

You can withdraw any consent at any time, without giving a reason: reply to any message asking for it to stop, use the contact page, or call or message +65 8613 3111. Marketing stops as soon as practicable, and in any case within 10 business days of your request.
